Panasonic Lumix DMC-G1 DSLR with Interchangeable Lens
Panasonic announces the launch of its Lumix DMC-G1, a compact and light weight DSLR. It features Lumix G micro system digital interchangeable lens with Micro Four Thirds Standard and weighs just 0.85 pounds. The Lumix G1 is a compact camera that offers stunning photo quality of a digital SLR camera.
Panasonic Lumix G1 claims to be the first DSLR camera to offer multiple colors. Sporting in black, blue and red colors, its 3-inch LCD can swivel 180 degrees horizontally and 270 degrees vertically.
The Lumix G1 also features a 12.1-megapixels sensor, MEGA optical image stabilization, intelligent ISO, face detection, scene selector and more. It also bundles up shake detection, motion detection, Light detection and HDMI output.
Apparently, Lumix G1 will be available in early October and its kit form will be available in November with additional lenses. There has been no word on the pricing.
